About De Lounge
Founded in 2022, De Lounge is an independent art unit founded and run by Hong Kong artists. We aim to embrace contemporary art and the process of thinking. De Lounge focuses on urban life and intervenes in urban thinking. We seek the stories and insights of artists, thinkers and creators. We want to create and maintain a thinking space for the city that encourages its inhabitants to appreciate their surroundings in their leisure time.
De Lounge curates exhibitions and programmes. In 2023, De Lounge curated the exhibitions Terminal III and I Will Sick Leave Tomorrow. In 2024, De Lounge regularly presents critical thinking workshops Here Talk, Here Gone.
